Beyonce donates $2.5 million towards California fire relief efforts

The fire, called "aggressive" by local TV stations, engulfed the two-story home, ABC13 in Houston reported.

Beyoncé is helping the fire relief effort in Los Angeles with a $2.5 million donation.

On Sunday, the entertainer’s charity organization, the BeyGOOD Foundation, announced the contribution.

The announcement on Instagram said, “The fund is earmarked to aid families in the Altadena/Pasadena area who lost their homes, and to churches and community centers to address the immediate needs of those affected by the wildfires.”

BeyGOOD also urged fans to “show your support for the impacted families.”
