Dolly Parton is helping out the Salvation Army this holiday season.

The country superstar donated $1 million to the Salvation Army, the second time she has done so. She donated $1 million last year when she headlined The Salvation Army’s annual Red Kettle Campaign Kickoff halftime show at AT&T stadium when the Dallas Cowboys played the Washington Commanders.

The Salvation Army’s National Commander Kenneth G. Hodder, says that they’re “honored” to receive such a generous gift from Dolly.

“Ms. Parton is once again ringing in hope and holiday spirit through another incredibly generous donation. Ahead of this Christmas season, when hope is needed more than ever, we are honored and grateful to receive this gift which will help The Salvation Army serve millions of individuals and families during a time of vital need.”
