On July 24, Lauren Alaina shared that her father, J.J Suddeth, had passed away suddenly. On Tuesday (Aug. 6), she addressed the situation on social media.

She said, “Thank you. I can’t think of much else to say right now other than thank you. Thank you to everyone who has checked on me and continued to show up for me.” She also gave a special shoutout to Jason Aldean and his wife for always treating her like family.
