The tragic story behind Matthew Perry’s sudden death — and the alleged culprits being held responsible for it is coming to the screen.

On Tuesday, Peacock released a trailer for Matthew Perry: A Hollywood Tragedy, a documentary special premiering February 25.

The upcoming doc discusses the Friends actor’s final days and the investigation that was launched into the nature of his death.

The trailer begins with audio of the dispatch call made to first responders after Perry drowned at his L.A. home.

As the trailer wraps up, an insider says, “This story has become so big that we’re really forgetting this story is about one man and that he will be missed.”

It concludes with footage from the 1996 Screen Actors Guild Awards, as Courteney Cox declares, “Matthew Perry is the funniest person in the whole world.”
