Miley Cyrus wants nothing to do with the recent drama surrounding her famous family.

After her brother Trace Cyrus voiced concerns for their father, Billy Ray Cyrus, following his recent inaugural performance, a source close to Miley tells People that she is keeping her distance from it all.

“Miley used to feel overwhelmed by the family drama. She worked hard to remove herself. She’s not about to get involved again,” the insider says.

“She’s in a great place now. She’s thriving and looking out for herself,” they added.

Miley has a big nomination at the 2025 Grammys for her work on Beyoncé‘s Cowboy Carter album. The duo is nominated for Best Country Duo/Group Performance for their collaboration, “II Most Wanted.”
