Moana 2 has set a box office record for the biggest take ever on Thanksgiving weekend.
The sequel pulled in $221 million in ticket sales at North American theaters over the five-day Thanksgiving holiday.
The previous record was set by Frozen 2 in 2019 when that movie made $125 million during the Turkey Day time period.
Last week’s number one film, Wicked, also kept putting butts in the seats. This week, Wicked earned another $117.5 million in the extended holiday.
Gladiator 2 brought in another $44 million in its second weekend of release.
