Morgan Wallen is taking accountability.

He pleaded guilty to throwing a chair off the rooftop of Eric Church’s downtown Nashville bar, Chief’s.

The chair landed near two Nashville police officers who were standing on the sidewalk below. Surveillance video confirmed it was Morgan who was arrested back on April 7.

On Thursday, (Dec. 12) a Nashville judge sentenced Morgan to one week of incarceration, to be served at a DUI education center, as well as two years' probation — one year for each of his misdemeanor charges for reckless endangerment — on Thursday, Dec. 12. Morgan must pay a $350 fine and court fees.

His attorney Worrick Robinson IV issued a statement:

“Mr. Wallen has cooperated fully with authorities throughout these last eight months, directly communicating and apologizing to all involved. Mr. Wallen remains committed to making a positive impact through his music and foundation.”

Since the arrest, Morgan has had no further incidents and wrapped up his record-breaking One Night At A Time tour. He was also crowned Entertainer of the Year at the CMA Awards last month.
