This was a surprise of a lifetime for these inmates.
Nick Cannon met and prayed with incarcerated firefighters who were called up to fight the LA wildfires.
Nearly 1000 incarcerated firefighters are working around the clock to fight the fires, making about $10 a day with a $1 per hour incentive during emergencies.
“Real Heros! Thank you to these young brothers for fighting fathers fires for 24 hours at a time! God has his hand on them For Real! Had to go show my love, appreciation and gratitude even though my Lupus has been flaring up, I got up out of my bed to go say Thank you!! 🙏🏾❤️ Free the Bros!!,” he captioned his Instagram post sharing photos of the special moment.
Nick Cannon shook hands, handed out hugs, and took photos.
Despite the low pay, some of the men said they liked the program because it was better than being in prison.
Nick also shared the video of the prayer he brought to lift up their spirits.
