On Sunday, Rory McIlroy finished his career grand slam by winning the green jacket at The Masters.
McIlroy didn’t make it easy. He bogeyed the 18th hole dropping him into a tie with Justin Rose.
Rose and McIlroy went against each other in a sudden-death playoff where Rory birdied the hole, and Rose put for par.
McIlroy became the sixth golfer ever to win all four major championships: The Masters, the U.S. Open, The Open Championship, and the PGA Championship.\
Rory has been chasing the grand slam since 2014.
Gene Sarazen, Ben Hogan, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, and Tiger Woods are the other golfers in career slam company.
A long time coming. Congratulations, Rory. #themasters pic.twitter.com/f72nOxQbfw
