Garth Brooks grew emotional watching wife Trisha Yearwood receive her star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

On Monday, March 24, Trisha Yearwood cemented her status as a Hollywood star!

During the ceremony, country singers Carly Pearce and Reba McEntire delivered speeches dedicated to Trisha. Garth didn’t speak at the ceremony, but he sat by her side and was seen wiping away his tears throughout the speeches.

“It’s very surreal to be here. It’s such an honor. And the thing that makes it so special is the people who are here,” Yearwood said as she spoke at the ceremony. “I’m overwhelmed, honestly.”

In her speech, she of course mentioned her famous husband.

“That one has really been a cheerleader and as many accolades and awards as he has won, I never see him get more excited than he does when I receive something.”
