Did you know that some people consider it bad luck to take down your Christmas tree before a specific date? I certainly didn’t until I posted about taking down our studio tree on December 26th to start getting things cleaned up before I went on vacation for a few days!
I knew people always debated when to put a tree UP with some preferring after Thanksgiving and some putting it up as early as October, but apparently, it’s considered “bad luck” if you take your tree down before the 12th Day of Christmas. This year, that day falls on Sunday, January 5th.
Both my home tree and work tree are long gone, and I was happy to enter the New Year with a clean home and workplace!
