QUOGUE, N.Y. — A head-on car crash left five people dead and another injured Saturday night, investigators said.
Quogue Village Police said a red Nissan Maxima crashed into a gray Toyota Prius around 11:19 p.m., Westhampton-Hampton Bays Patch reported.
Investigators believe speed was a factor, News 12 Bronx reported.
Four people were pronounced dead at the scene. Another person was taken to a hospital and died. Another victim was taken to a hospital and is in critical condition.
None of the victims were identified.
The crash closed the Montauk Highway.
