Keshia Knight Pulliam announces birth of second child

Actress Keshia Knight Pulliam announced the birth of her second child on social media.

The Cosby Show” actress, 44, announced in an Instagram post on Sunday that she gave birth to a son. Her husband, actor Brad James, was on hand for the birth, the Los Angeles Times reported.

“With this little one we are complete,” Pulliam wrote on social media. “Happy Birthday to me!!! What an eventful birthday week.

“Thank you for the birthday wishes!!” added Pulliam, who celebrated her birthday on Sunday.

Pulliam has a 6-year-old daughter, Ella, with her former husband, former NFL linebacker Ed Hartwell, who played four seasons for the Atlanta Falcons and two with the Baltimore Ravens.

Pulliam announced her pregnancy in December 2022. She married James in September 2022, according to People.

She previously spoke about her struggle to grow her family in the documentary “Eggs Over Easy: Black Women & Fertility.” She talked about how she was getting ready to start the process of freezing her eggs when the coronavirus pandemic caused doctors to halt all elective medical procedures, People reported.

“I never thought I would be one of the stories shared within the documentary,” she told the magazine. “I was 41 at the time and knew that I wanted another kid, but I knew that it wasn’t right now.”

In March, the couple revealed in an Instagram post that they were having a boy, People reported.
